Coronavirus (COVID-19) has lead to self quarantine, lockdowns, and social distancing across the globe. Take advantage of this time at home by focusing self care.  Below are tips on just how to accomplish this so that once this Pandemic ends, you will be ready to resume life as usual in tip-top shape. 

Take a Break from the News

Between social media and the news, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the coronavirus updates. While it's important to stay informed, it's also important to take a break and to not become consumes by the news. Try catching up on streaming movies, indoor activities, video games, magazines, or other things to help take your mind off news alerts.

Enhance your Diet

During this time, try to eat out less and be sure to eat balanced meals with proteins, vegetables, and drink plenty of water.

At Home Exercises

Don't let the coronavirus pandemic crush your fitness goals. There are plenty of exercise videos available on Youtube that you can do at home. There is also exercise equipment perfect for at-home workouts. 

Check in on loved ones

Although social distancing is still recommended by the CDC, this is a great time to reconnect with friends and loved ones via FaceTime or telephone.

Enjoy New Music

Studies show that music can alleviate pain, reduce stress, and boost ones mood. If you are feeling a bit down or stressed, play some of your favorite tunes. Several artists have released albums within the past few weeks, so this could be a could time to listen to new music by your favorite artists. Spotify and other streaming music sites actually have COVID-19 playlists

Organize your Home

Take this time to declutter your closet, kitchen cabinets, pantry, or rearrange a room. Not only will this allow you to accomplish a task that you may have been putting off, but it will also make you feel better by living in a less cluttered space.
